ABS Light On, Speedo/Tac bouncing ???
My mother said her '97 3.0 CL started messing up today it missed once pretty good and the ABS light came one, and the speedo and tac started bouncing. My first thought is the ECU going bad, what do you guys think?
I know on my Mustang (don't flame please I'd run my own codes by shorting two wires on the test plug and count the flashes on the "check engine light" to get the codes. After reading in here I don't see anyone talking about that ability on the Acura. So I'm assuming I'll have to go to AZ to get them run.
Just wanted the opinion of the experts over here first.
Thanks Guys
(and my 65 year old mom thanks you too)

Ok update. I went and checked out the car myself and boy is it really messed up. I cranked it in the drive way and it idles and revs fine but no Tac at all. I went to move the seat back (electric) to drive down the road and it would not go forward or back but it will go up and down. Then I noticed when I moved it up and down the lights dimmed and what was really weird the P4 light on the dash would light up when I pulled up on the seat control. I tried to pull it forward and it started cutting out real bad. ....
Needless to say it isn't moving anywhere till I get this fixed for her but this is a little more info for you guys to diagnose.

If the power seat is affecting the problem I doubt it would be an ECU issue cause the two have little to do with each other. I don't think it's the starter unless it struggles to start, but I could be an alternator or a battery. If you have an extra battery try and hook it up and see if it solves the problem. Definetly sounds weird though. You may also just want to pick up an OBD-II diagnostic tool. Comes in handy in situations like this and its something thats good to have in general.
