ABP or TW? Smoked or Clear Tails?
Hey, I'm new to this forum and interested in buying an '03 CL-S. However, I can't decided whether to get Tafetta White or the Aegean Blue Pearl. I really love the way both colors look. Another major factor is the taillights. I love the way the look clear and smoked. I'm leaning towards the ABP with clear tails. So I'd like to see what people who already have their cars think about these colors, and their opinions on the taillights.
Thanks!
Btw, I thought this might be worth mentioning. I live around 5 minutes from Yonkers which I believe is RJ's headquarters.

If you do TW, smoke the taillights. If you get the ABP, leave em as-is. Do a search for Corrosion, he has a nice TW CLS with smoked taillights.
Personally, I'm partial to Anthracite!

Drifting
go for whichever one is a 6speed.
if they are both 6MTs, the decision is hard because personally, I think ABP looks better than TW on the CL. However, TW is rediculously rare (especially w/ 6MT and Ebony interior) I'd probably base it off that. If the white one has ebony interior and a 6speed, buy it. If not, go with the ABP.

Yeah, I'm definitely looking for a CL-S 6spd manual in or around the lower New York/upper New Jersey area.
Corrosion, very nice looking car man. I was talking about smoking the white part of the tails, but the smoked reds look sharp. What exhaust and wheels are you running?

I wanted to purchase the agean blue, but could not find one around my area at the time when I needed a car, DAMN!!! I would definatly go with the blue due to the rareness of the color, but I am just as happy with my silver CLS. As for the taillights I would leave em alone.

It's the never ending battle of smoked tops vs. smoked bottoms... LOL! I personally don't care for the look of just the top smoked, I would either do the whole thing tinted or just do the red part.

I hear you New Image!! I remember you posted on another thread and said you were going to pick the car up in Charlotte. Looks like you successfully have the car in your possesion. Looks good with those wheels.

Just have to realize that Acura wasn't marketing CL's to our generation...(20 somethings)
They were marketing to baby-boomers, I'm sure that's why there are more ATs than there are MTs
I remember when I bought my last Benz, I looked up info on the C230s and they were/maybe still are, marketing towards the "boomers." Also, when people think luxory, they don't think MT, they think, mmmmmmmmmm AT...no clutch.

Any pics of smoked tailights on an Anthracite 03 cls?
I was thinking about having it done on mine (whole tailight), but I want to see some results before I regret it.
