Aarrrgghh!!
Been without my car since last Friday now waiting to get my second tranny replace done. Called dealer today to check the status and they said the transmission and computer was in and they were just getting ready to test drive it and that it would probably be ready for pickup this afternoon. 10 minutes later I get a call saying that Acura sent them the wrong computer (for the base model, not the Type S).. I am so sick of driving around this little RSX, lol. They already ordered it and had it overnighted so they're hoping it comes in tomorrow and I can pick it up tomorrow. I was so ready to drive my car finally after a week when they said it was done and ready to test drive.....

Yeah I know.. The RSX was a little fun to drive at first cause it handles a bit better and is a lot smaller, but the power in it is just non-existant. Had to drive the Formula a few times this week so I didn't forget what some power felt like, lol. It's supposed to have 160hp. My girlfriends new accord has that and is a LOT quicker than the RSX. This RSX is slow as hell. I do like the downshift into first though.

Well the computer didn't come in Saturday like it was supposed to, was told then it should be in today. Been calling the dealer since 11AM this morning (it is now 3:20pm) leaving voicemails and messages for my rep to call and let me know whats goin on as nobody else there knows but him. Never get a call back. Finally get a hold of him and he says he's not sure if it came in yet, he'd have to check on it, but he's pretty sure it did. 10 Minutes later I get a call back that it came in but for some reason which he could not give me it wasn't put in the car?!?! HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO.. So I said "Definitely tomorrow, right?" and the response I got was "I'll have to get with my Shop Manager tomorrow morning to see what its going to take to get it done, should only be another hour or two of work".. Why can't they just do it now, it's 3:15 when I talked to them and they're open until 5:30?! It's one thing that Acura has so many problems with these damn POS trannys and whatever else is wrong with the car, the last thing they need to do is get customer's aggrevated by taking their grand old time when fixing the cars.
