'98 I-30 wants to go!

My friend drives a '98 Infinity I-30 and I have been giving him shit that he is driving a chick car. He now wants to race me next friday (I think its going to be stoplight racing). Do you think I can take him? I know they only have 227hp, but I heard the Nissan/Infinity engines are very torquey and have good low end power, whereas I need to hit higher revs to really get goin.

well a 98 i30 has 190hp and 205 ftlbs of tourque you should take him easy i have a 97 max.

dude....what does low end tourque matter in a stoplight race....as long as ur not a baby and arent afraid to rev ur engine ull spank the hell outta him.

There is a 1995 I30 running around detreoit with 400hp and 400 torque I dont know what it runs.1/4's though. It had reworked motor, stillen S/C and 150 shot nitrous.

first of all, the i30 was introduced in 96. second is they do have 190 hp. unmodified, you should kick the shit out of him. o-60 like 7.7 1/4 15.5+
