Well i hav ea question for all of you that have had there cvars past 7500 miles. I just reached that plateu and a light came on in my dash sayin i need maintence, Is that just acuras way of suckering me into gettin a look at my car or is a scheduled maintence trip that i should make. I really could use a oil change too, maybe the car is like kit and its tell me something

Hondas do the same thing. Personally, I don't feel that it is necessary to have the 7500 checkup if nothing is noticably wrong with the vehicle. Although, the only way you can have the light extinguished is to go to the dealer.

i disagree, when that light comes on it is recommending that service should be done around this mileage you should have an oil change, tire rotation and other minor checks like tire pressure fluid levels etc

the light can be turned off by putting key in ignition and turning to on position while holding two buttons on dash, i believe they are trip and reset, keep holding these buttons for about 10 seconds and light will go off

i still recommend going to dealer though

 

yeh i think i am headed to the dealer this week for a tire rotation and a oil check. plus i have a scratch on both of my drivers side rims so i want themm to rotate them so i dont have to see them . THansk for the info ioon gettin the light to go off, i may try that anyway.
