I have been noticing a vibration every once in a while, and it seems to be only in 1st gear. It is RPM related and gets worse with increased RPM. It feels almost like the vibration you get when you start out on 2nd. It goes away as soon as I shift to 2nd.

When I had the UR Crank pulley installed I was cautioned that the Unorthodox pulley had no harmonic dampner... is this possibly a related issue?

Has anyone else had what feels like a driveline vibration on acceleration in 1st gear?

Any suggestions appreciated.

 

sounds like an engine mount issue.

 

Yea... I kind of thought of that as a possibility as well, so I went in today to get it checked. Was only able top reproduce a mild vibration at about 5K RPM. The mechanic thought that it was a tire related vibration... as in they were just about to break loose.

Initially I thought that was BS, but is has really only been on hard acceleration that I have noticed this, and I really hit the sweet spot in acceleration around 4500 RPM, so it may be a traction related issue.
