60K Maintenance Worth?
It's time for my 60K scheduled maintenance and I've been quoated roughly $500 from Norris Acura West. I think that's a bit much. If I were to have an independant Honda/Acura Tech do the service for me, what do you think would be a descent price? Or do you think the $500 is a fair deal?

I did my 30K myself for around $100. I think the 60K covers the same stuff..
$500 is alot, but it really depends on what they are doing. Not all dealers follow acura's recommended service schedule.

One of the dealers near me, recommended replacing the pollen filters every 15K miles instead of 30K miles as recommended. They also will let you pick and choose what maintenance you want performed, so you can skip the pollen filters if you want, which is cool.
So it's tough to tell if $500 is too much unless you list out what they are going to do...
If it's just an oil changes, tire rotation, air and pollen filter changes, and the usually inspections, then $500 is way too much, but if they are also going to change the brake fluid, and do some other things, then it might be worth it.

$500 is way too much IMO. I payed 330 including tax after $50 off from original price and I think I payed too much. If you have a reusable airfilter, try to get a discount, thats how I got $50 bucks off!
Who knew that a stock air filter costs 50 bucks
I guess the labor for taking of a few screws is incredible.
That icebox is starting to pay for itself.

replace the cabin air filter yourself, i saved $100 bucks by doing that when i did the 30K service. Don't forget to tell them that it was replaced before having your car serviced

Thanks for the replys. I'll have to find out what exactly they're service includes and let you know. I assumed it would be what was listed on the Owners Link.

I was told that the same service is cheaper in NH tho', so not all acura dealers charge the same rates.
I ended up doing my 30K myself, and I'll probably do the same for the 60K :
