who has the quickest 60ft times on stock tires and rims ?????????just wondering

I never ran with the stock tires so this info is useless to you more or less but...

I thought my best was a 2.200 but I just looked at my slips and my best with the Conti's is a 2.119 which gave me a 14.519 @ 96.49 mph.

Get some tires man and you'll have even better times.

 

Well, I'm sure I have the worst at 2.8 & 2.92

 

2.220 on stock rims and tires

 

My best 60' was 2.223 and my worst after 7 runs was a 2.378 and I was running on stock rubber.

my best was the 2 flat sunday but fucked up when i shifted it into neutral got a 15 flat..

stock wheels yes but not stock tires...toyo t1-s i went many 2.0's and on my nitto 555 non draggers i almost went 1.9 ofcourse this is with the SSR comps too.. now 2.020

 

i went 2.2... in my 97 4cyl 5spd, on stock rims, and dunlops.

 

2.137 for me and mrsteve claims a 2.119

Ga2000 got a 2.175
Mattg got a 2.16

I just don't see it possible to land a 1.9 on stock wheels/tires....AND THEN ONLY GET A 15+ SECOND ET!!!!!!!Are u sure ur not reading the timeslip correctly. If u got a 1.9 60ft on a stock tl-s...u would get like a 14.2 or lower outta it!!

I kinda knew I'd get this reaction. When I did those runs I had no idea what the 60's meant, I was just interested in the et's. But I decided to look over my slips after reading a post here. I was very surprised considering the 6-speeders weren't even pulling that kind of time. I was also very disappointed in the ET's which I still can't explain. Anyways here goes the link.

I'll be damned and corrected....I don't know what the hell went wrong but wtf. How did u only manage a 15.4 and a 15.3. I don't know...maybe the track is messed up or something. Or maybe ur a excellent driver and ur v-tec ain't working or something. I dunno....unexplainable

 

honestly i think it's impossible for a stock auto to run that 60....i'd be willing to bet that they let you stage on the rear tires...the next to slips you show are high 2.2 which is believable

I was more disappointed in the ET's. The car was stock but I expected high 14's. I've asked on this forum a couple times for an explanation but nobody seems to know. I don't claim to even be a decent racer, but all I know is that's what the slips say.

Although I do have 5 in a row consistant 2.21x


Last time at the track all 6 of my runs were 2.2xx

nope...sorry Matt. i've done a 2.137 while the drag master jr. has a 2.175

 

My best on stock tires in my 6 speed is 2.306. Stock tires + 6 speed + touchy clutch = shit for 60' times.
