60,000 mile checkup

Greetings everyone

I'm about 1k away from the 60k checkup, but with my driving it will come along very quickly.

Dealer quoted $400 for it.

What do I really need to do for this check-up?
(oil change, probably tranny flush....etc)

Should I just do the whole thing and get it over with?

I would love to save as much as possible and put that towards rotors and breaks.

Thanks all

Depends what you had done at 45k. That is usually a coolant flush, plus other items. That makes the 60k similar to the 30k which just add the trans fluid and cabin filters. Mine was only like $178.

cant remember off the top of my head, but I did whatever the dealer recommends to do. I would just do it again now but would like to have the $$$ to buy new rotors.

What I like to do is have them itemize the service for you and then just pick what you feel needs done. They will include overpriced services such as air filter, rotate tires, etc.

Mine was like $390 and included an oil change, transmission fluid change, brake fluid change, a/c filter replacement, and air filter replacement as well as all those visual inspections. The service also includes a tire rotation but I had that done earlier and just asked them to skip it.

My next 60K will be cheap as I do not need the tranny serviced!! They are replacing it now at 50K....

One small silver lining I guess.
