6-speed! what?

So i posted pics of my black 3.2 CL about a week ago. And as promised, I took delivery of my silver 6-speed navi today at Acura of Denville in New Jersey. Car drives BEAUTTTTIFULLY. I drove it home to PA and did about 50 more miles in my town with all the excitement. Then it happened...downshifted into 2nd gear as I was coming to a stop and thud thud thud i felt in the shifter and then my clutch goes soft...i cant move the shifter...WTF...i managed to get it into first and drove it really slow to a parking lot before i shut off the car. Clutch is basically like a feather now. Shifter is jammed in first. I called AAA...the guy seemed pretty experienced and told me my clutch cable linkage snapped or something. Its at Lehigh Valley Acura right now and i'll know the diagnosis tomorrow. I'm so disappointed....
Oh and the 6-speed only had 31k on the odometer when I bought it...and did I mention I've only had it 1 day??

Oh man, that sucks. Hopefully it'll get taken care of. It should, cause it's still under warranty. Well, have fun with the car when you get it back! I love driving my 6 spd (got it this past sept).

If the linkage snapped you would have not gotten it back in first. Sounds weird... should be replaced under warranty.

I don't remember if you can view the linkage from the engine on the CL-S, but on my VW I could. Maybe worth a try.

I've always been told most things related to the clutch are wear related and not covered, hope yours is covered though. good luck.

It should be. He only owned it 1 day(less then that) There was a warranty. It didn't say "as is"
Might have to get it back to the selling dealer though. That would be a PITA.
