The 6 speed swap just got easier

http://www.kitsuiengineering.com/harness.html

You can now swap in a 04-08 manual TL or 03 CL transmission. No need for transmissson ecu etc. All you need is:

manual transmisson
clutch assembly and linkage
tranny mounts
shifter/gearbox
small odds and ends
send in your auto cl ecu harness and they will do the tough electrical work.

In the second sentence from the site provided above, it appears that they are utilizing his module in the kit.

'The setup will include a modified RV6 AT>MT conversion module, programmed ECU, Immobilizer receiver and a set of uncut programmed keys.'

For scepter, Yes he has the J32 swap market in mind, but I emailed him about just a basic 01-03 CL auto and he said it would be no problem.

Is Richie still making these and are his prices cheaper? No offense but everyone on this forum sounds like a hipster... "I knew about this mod 4 years ago before it went mainstream."

Still seems a hell of a lot cheaper to just sell the car and buy one with a manual or get a different vehicle. Sorry but it's a 10 year old car that isn't anything special. I could see if it was a classic or something fast, well handling, or trackable but it's not and never will be. It's funny that for all the talk about it, we've seen less than a dozen people actually go through with the swap. Suppose that's like most everything for this car. People say they want cams or this or that but when it comes time to put the money down, they suddenly are no where to be found.
