mmhmmm but when I found mine I figured the chances of finding another type-s 6speed with navi would be almost impossible so I settled for the SSM, I love the colour now but would still like a different colour

Yea. I got mine with 56k on it, and it was the only one I saw at that time. I drove to NY to test drive it and a week later I went back to pick up it.

Dont get me wrong, I absolutely love the car, but I think I shouldnt have jumped the gun and got it so soon.

I did look at a few CLs before this one though, and they were all beat badly. I felt comfortable with this one because it was the original owner and the guy was in his 40s with a wife, kids, a 2 other cars. The kids werent allowed in it and he only drove it to the train station during the weekdays (4 miles from his house). He would use it for roadtrips down to Virginia Beach though. I think he said he had family there or something. It had all the records and the Carfax checked out.

Ya, this was my second car and I was still in high school and couldn't wait to get a new car so I definitely ended up jumping the gun, but oh well I love it

I love mine too. It was only owned by one other person, it did however get into one accident resulting in the replacement of 1 fender, 1 airbag, and a few suspension parts. That's all that happened to it, and those parts were replaced profesionally. The title on the car is STILL CLEAN. Can't even tell it happened

Picked mine up at 86k Now I have about 96k saving up money for the 105k.

How much does the 105k cost? What is changed for you besides the water pump and the timing belt?

The first CL I test drove with an Anthracite 6MT. It was beat to hell and the guy smoked, so I knew right away it wasnt the one. But I still test drove and when I got on it a bit I knew had to have one.

IIRC the DRLs are in the high beam. Im not sure if it just cuts voltage to the high beam bulb or if theres another smaller bulb in there similar to the older Civics with their "city" lights.

Picked mine up in Minneapolis summer of '08 w/ 46K on it. Unfortunately I just rolled 70K, but it is my DD. Still, 70K for a 7 year-old ain't bad for a DD.

i was looking for my CL over three months at the time there was only 4 on craigslist and 2 at autotrader first was SSM with 85k miles but after a test drive i just made myself sure that this is the car i am looking for but not really this one SSM... i loved the tq and power the way it look i didint realized that this car is so rare. next one was KBP i loved the color so much but still car was at 89k miles that was to much for me next one was NBP with 75k with bbk and SC but i didnt like tan interior and i wanted car to be stock. last one was NBP with 48k miles but guy wanted a crazy money for that car also a lien on it and after i checked the carfax (there was an accident) but guy showed me picture of damage... rear fender was repainted thats it after i beat the price 2.5k lower i bought the car after 3 weeks fighting with the guy and im sure i still paid to much but i do not regret that

hmm am i one of the only 6 speed owners left who bought the car new? Seems like everyone in this thread is a second owner or more. I paid 27k for my non navi in ssm. I have no regrets at all, love my car. I like silver paint the best. I think it is the best for hiding swirls, not looking dirty, and looking sexy when the sun hits it. If i was gonna do another color id get white with black interior. That color combo is hawt too. Id still take my Cl over the accord. I like the exclusivity of it. Resale value means nothing to me thou since i wont sell it.

My mom paid $42000 for an 01 CL (non S, no navi)... in 02!!!! then 3 years later my bro wrote it off and we got 16000 for it... WHAT A LOSS

I sat in the new Accord Coupe 6speed(while I my mom was in the midst of purchasing a honda accord 4 door) on MAN, it's a nice car.

I'd have to get that car if the opportunity arose, but by the time I have the ability to get it, I will want another car most likely.

I would like to stay in the Honda/Acura family as long as I can. I cannot tell you how much I like them! they have perfect sized motors, good on gas, good for modding, reliable... etc

The day Honda or Acura comes out with a V8 will be VERY interesting

I wish I was in the position to buy it new. Sometimes I wish I got the Accord not only because of resale, but aftermarket support is better. That still isn't stopping most people from pushing companies into making parts or making custom one-off parts themselves.

And now that I think about it, the custom touches Ive had to do make me appreciate the car that much more. I think I need to go give my CL a hug.
