Just get some new tires and then come back, cuz trying to launch on the stockers is pointless.

I guess if you insist try taking it up to 2k, and slip the clutch while giving it gas. if you do it right it will still squeal the tires, but you wont get any or too much wheelhop, and shift right at redline.

Welcome to the forum !!

I generally will start out at about 1500-1800 rpm's depending on road conditions. If it's wet or there's a lot of sand on the road I might start off a little lower. I tend to not give her that much gas to the point where she'll almost stall out sometimes

Holla back when you see me, aiight

Launch RPM's

With slicks on, go thru the water box. Heavy burn out for 100 ft or so.
Feather the clutch out @ 3500 to 4000 or so to keep from digging a hole in the
pavement....speed shift 1 to 2, careful 2 to 3 shift.....go thru the traps at about
6800 rpm in 3rd! Usually nets a 12.7 or 12.8 @ 112 to 115 mph!

My CL-S....?! No, my other red two door with 8 nice sized holes, 16 injectors
32 valves, stock except for a chip & 3" exhaust. This is Only done on a qualified drag strip....never on the streets!
