6-Speed Folks...

It appears that there is no external clue to differentiate a 6-speed from the usual CL. I've been thinking of some tasteful (non-rice) external badge that might be affixed to mark this.

I've come up with several ideas that could work but I would like everyone's opinion. It would be nice if we could agree on a single badge placed identically on all 6-speeds so it would look like it was factory installed.

I suggest that the badge be placed on the driver's side rear symetrically opposite to the "3.2 CL Type S" badge.

1) The Chrysler "M" from the 300M - the M standing for manual.

2) The Acura 6-speed badge that's on the console - I don't know if it's available separately.

3) The letters "MTX" (manual transmission) which I have yet to find on any car.

the first clue would be the car being a manual. Any car person, can tell the difference between a manual and an auto, just by how it accelerates+cruises.

I was a little disappointed Acura didn't give it some kind of indication, especiially since you can only get it on S and it comes with other changes (mainly the LSD). The reason is so I can look over at another car in a parking lot or stop light and think, "cool, dude has an mt", and likewise another mt driver can appreciate that I have one--not so much to brag to automatic driver that I have an mt. The only ones who appreciate an mt is another mt driver anyway (lotta auto drivers probably think we're knuckleheads). But since Acura didn't, I don't feel compelled to add anything to my car.

....... but seriously, the 6 speed does not need a badge. The type S says enough. For those who know the car they can tell if it's an O3 easily enough. At that point let em' guess if it's manual or auto. For those who don't know the model the awsome styling is enough to turn a head or two.
