5Zigen's M05 - what's the build quality/durability of these rims?

And I wonder if they'd look good on a 3.2CL...

Color choices are:
Silver (with machined lip).
Super Silver.
White.

18x7.5 with a 47 offset should fit.

The imperios are JDM wheels since they are made in Japan. They are really nice rims and I was looking at them when I had my Integra. If ur into bling bling, u can get them in chrome. Also, I hear they are of pretty good quality as well and that they are durable.

5zigen is pretty respectable, but no where near volk, ssr, bbs and all those guys

keep in mind the mo5 is a 1 piece cast, so its nothing special. if i was financially limited to a cast wheel, 5zigens would be at the top of the list. very good looking wheel. it doesnt look as good in person. those wheels are pretty popular among the civic/teg owners

i only like the hyper black version

some pics i had when i was interested in those...

Oooo I wonder if hyperblack would look any good on Aegean Blue?

I also like that flat six-spoke wheel in your picture that looks like the Volk TE37, is that what it is?

Btw, is cast strong? Like compared to other wheel creation methods.

Hahaha okay well thanks for the warning.

Btw, I just noticed these M-05s stick out a bit kinda like the stock rims. I guess they wouldn't work well for car washes.

I believe that one piece FORGED is the strongest rim you can get. I don't know if three piece forged are stronger, but they are more expensive.

Casting is strong, just not nearly as strong as forged.

The M-05's in Chrome would look SWEEEET on your ABP!!!!!!

yeah, black would look gay on a blue car

cast is normal. our factory wheels are cast. a forged multipiece wheel is stronger and lighter

the other wheels are fireballs. my favourite wheels. te37s are pretty hot too...ive got some nice pics of both

No way...

im sorry, but i hate seeing people put ugly ass wheels on our cars these days. Its like, "Cant they see what they're doing?" Like the guy with the TL kit on the CL. What was he thinking with those wheels?!? Please dont get those JRock.

When buying wheels, dont just get something to get something. Get it because you know wherever you go, someone will see you rolling down the street and go HOLY SHIT look at that!!

I know your probably just asking for opiniobns and weren't necessarily going to buy those. so im just giving my opinion.

It's cool man, I appreciate your opinion. Got any suggestions for rims to get for my car that aren't overplayed but are 18" and under ~$325/rim?

JRock, unless I'm mistaken and have been hit in the head with a ford foci, those are the 5Zigen Fireball rims...Why they named a set of rims after their exhaust system or vice versa is beyond me however I do know that 5Zigen is a very respectable company.

btw, I like the Enkie RPM2 Bortex rims on Charle's CL with the TL bodykit.

Axis Muse, hagen, and se7en's are nice.
Zenetti Milano, Valeo, Vega, and crow look good.
Even the racing hart Evo M7000s might look good.

325 is not too much to work with though. But, im sure you will find something you like. just dont pick anything ugly. Thats all im saying :-D

The Zenetti Vegas look nice, but they only offer 18x8.5. Seems awfully wide. I doubt i could fit them with my lowered car and I don't want a rim I can't fit. I also remember them being way above my price range and I wasn't sure if they were a quality company.

Jrock my fellow rocker, how bout centerline wheels? Their wheels are light (18inch~14lbs),forged, and inexpensive. Also, u can usually get them for well under $325 for 18x7.5, which is perfect for ur car. Also, there is no set offset 4 their wheels which means u pick out an 18x7.5 wheel u like and then tell them the offset u want it. Then u'd wait approx. 2 weeks 4 ur rims 2 come in
Their website is wheels

heres a preview:
Available in 4 diff. colors.
Also available in diff. colors.

I personally think the 1st wheel would look sick on ur car esp. in white or silver finish; or if ur into the rally look, the gold would look ridiculosly sick since ur car is blue Good luck bro

No prob bro, I know 4 an AV6 an ideal offset would be +45 in an 18x7.5 config. But, I believe 4 ur car it would be +48 offset for an 18X7.5 config., although as long as ur +45 or over u should be fine. I'm 70% sure thats the rite offset 4 ur car but if I'm wrong can someone help me out plz? U should ask someone on this board that has 18s, like shawn s, what the ideal offset is, since u'll want 2 drop it later on w/ comptechs w/o any problems

Just a little:

The rake really isn't as pronounced as that pic makes it look though. Silly road. As soon as I wash it I'll take better pics.

Jrock, what are u dropped on BTW?

I think that white rims, 4 the 1st wheel i posted would look sweet on ur cars and turn heads too. Or u can always go w/the gold but then all those egomaniacs would say ur trying to be a wannabe wrx (like we'd ever want a car w/an interior made of coal )

Gold and chrome are definitely out. Black and white are maybes. Silver is good with me.

I really don't know about black rims on my car. Just seems kinda ghetto. White are hardest to keep clean and look a little boy-racer-ish. Silver is the standard rim color.

Yea I hear u Jrock, looks like either white or silver 4 u. I think black rims would detract the classy/luxury appearance of the CL and white may make it look ricey so now it looks like silver rims 4 u lol.

The thing is that w/ white rims, u'd probably get challenged at every light by a civic or focus w/a bazooka exhaust lol But, i don't know why but I wouldn't mind either white or silver lol Good luck man
