It was last friday on my way to meet some people for dinner, so i decided to feed my car on the way there. So im dirving west on I-80 and getting on to Biz 80 when a black (mid 90's) GT cuts me off and brings me to a hault. Then after he noticed me on his ass, he took off. As i took off right behind him I noticed the exhaust work and body kit he had added on to his ride. Once we passed the traffic about a 1/4 mile later i pulled up to the side of him a gave him the nod, we took off doing about 65 and i was about 2 1/2 car lengts ahead of him within a mile, when we came up to the bend we were doing like 120 and i saw his car shaking and not holding. I took the bend with no problems while he had to slow down in order not to lose it. He finally came out of the bends, by that time I was at Hwy 160 and doing like 120. If you dont know the area its about a mile after the bends.

 

Damn, 65-120 took a mile?

 

I ran against a '94 5.0 three times.....the guy had me by about 2-3 car lenghts consistantly (although he has intake, exhaust, header, and short-throw shifter). Nice kill though!

 

I was the Mustang that ran against this retard last week. His story is so full of shit. I cut him off and he pulled up next to me and nodded like some queer looking for a date. Scared that some homo was trying to troll for some ass, I took off and he was not even close to catching me. He was at least two car lenghts behind me the entire time. I exited at the Arden with the TL out of sight. This guys story is crap, don't believe it.

And......FYI about Fords not being able to handle their own on the twisties.....don't believe the hype!

Actually this has already been attempted unsuccessfully (check for prior threads on this). It's not all that surprising though, w/ all but 1-2 TLS/CLS guys really willing to face the hard facts that when push comes to shove their cars aren't that quick after all.......and the majority of stang owners not overly concerned or interested in wasting their time/gas $ to head to the track to do what everyone already knows would happen in the real world.

I've got a TL, and I've ridden in a mildly modded TLS.......they're awesome cars and I love mine, but these TL(s)/CL(s) arguments are ridiculous - they're 2 very different cars.

some of our cars are alittle quicker than others.....headers and intake and tires make this car .3-.6 faster in the 1/4 than stock
