Change the door switches, they're like $15 CDN each from dealer. It usually won't beep because a door, trunk or hood is not closed properly. One of your switches is probably busted. Door are the easiest to replace, if you get a beep on lock after you replace them then I think you should be good.

most of the time it's the hood latch integrated switch grounding itself.
you need to replace the hood latch

My experience is that when your alarm starts going heywire for no apparent reason, Ive found it to be the battery inside the REMOTE FOB! Happened to my last 2 cars...........out of nowhere, the alarm just started going off!

Not always necessarily true. Something could be wrong with the alarm in itself. Or one of the sensors are busted. Check the sensors first and go from there.

I just got the same problem, people have to be hating me. I live on the 3rd floor and my car is usually parked outside of someone's first floor window so I barely hear it but everyone knows how loud the Acura alarm is.

For the past 3 months now, my car's alarm has randomly gone off about 5 times without any logical explanation.

I have no idea what is causing this and its pretty annoying because I haven't done any work on my car in the past 5 months to explain this from starting.

This sucks, but its not a big deal, I'll just start off by replacing the FOB battery.

The pin switches on the door jambs may be bad. Replace those & see what happens.

yep, that's what did the trick for me. they didn't seem to be broken or anything when I took them out but I never had the problem again.

Note: the wire connected to the switch is kinda tight in there so don't loose it in the hole and make sure you got good grip on it before disconnecting it
