I changed my transmission oil at 15k. Now my mechanic says I need another one. Is that true? Also something bout flushing the coolant? Or should I stop being a cheap ass and bring it into Acura before my warranty is out. Suggestions?

no i think my tranny warranty ends at 50k, because they supposedly fixed the problem for the 03 models

 

I went to the dealer for the same question and they said that the tranny fluid is due at 105k miles. However, they recommended me to do it every 30k miles. I thing you should be fine if you changed it at 15k miles.

 

ok how bout coolant? should i change that? or do i need to flush anything?

 

you're suppose to change coolant at 45k, which i need to do too. i'm at 48k. look in your manual, it should tell you.

 

just called the dealer, they said coolant change and 45k checkup without oil change is $260, is that a rip??
