3rd party warranties
Does anyone have any experiences or recommendations for 3rd party warranties.
I was looking on autotrader and saw an ad for this company
http://www.carwarrantiesdirect.com/
I remember hearing about a lot of people who bought these kinds of warranties on here and then the company went under and they lost their money.
The reason I'm looking at these warranties is because I'm looking at an old S2k now. Like a 2000 model and worried that it may have problems with the tranny or differential in the future.

Go with this place. http://www.curryacuracare.com/
It’s an official Honda/Acura backed “AcuraCare” Warranty and their prices are pretty good.
Sign up on their site and they will E-Mail you a coupon.
I paid 850-dollars for my 7-Year 75,000 Mile ZERO deductible warranty two months ago.

Yea, stay away from most third party warrenties unless they are VERY WELL known. My brother bought one for his car and it went under. Luckily he didn't need it and unfortunately a few months later he totaled his car. Stick with warrenties from the manafacturer as its often easier when you need stuff replaced and want it done at a local honda/acura dealer.

I don’t know how much luck your gonna have looking for a warranty on a 4+ year old vehicle.
