Well as usual it was done at Palm Beach Acura, I was initially quoted that the service was $415 for everything. I wanted to get the tranny recall done as well(but I already had the oil jet fix).


I get in there and tell them I want the 30k service at 26k miles because I am selling the car and figured the buyer may like that he doesnt need to do the 30k service. I got everything except for the rotation(free at tire kingdom for me), parking brake adjustment (got that for free 10,000 miles before), tranny fluid flush (got that for free at 17k miles), and didnt need a new air filter (I have aem cai)...I made sure for them to check for leaks and inspect closely my exhaust and suspension.

The service advisor told me that after their inspection of the fluids, suspension, exhaust, and all their other inspections that everything looks great.

The bill $107. The sheet didnt show all the inspections they did and thats why it wasnt more money, but whats great is they did top off all the oils and everything was inspected as I watched them do it!

 

30K service is a waste, I did mine and will never do it again:
1. Overpriced
2. They don't check sh*t

Its an eassy money for them.

The best thing is to change all your fluids and filters as manual says, this is good enough.

 

thats what happened, they did all the inspections and fluid check, and changed the oil and filters and a/c and pollen filter. My 30k wasnt a rip, but if u just let them give u the normal quote and dont take off stuff like tire rotation, and emergency brake adjustment, then they will take your money
