300-400 for AEM intake

Also my acura dealer says about 300 for the AEM intake, 350 tops
Is this a good price or am I being ripped off. I guess I'll rather be ripped off a few than voiding my warranty. Any suggestions, also should I go with blue or polished? I have an Aegean Blue CL-S.

PEACE

Nick

$300-$350 included installation by dealer? then not a bad price.
If my car is blue , I certainly would get the blue CAI as well.

I wouldn't say it's a ripoff....its just about 100 for labour... I don't think your warrenty voids for installing your own CAI, but then again, if you screw up the install (which is nearly impossible) you will be liable for damage...

mechanical?

I dont picture myself very mechanical however my neighbor is, he builds airplane engines and cars from scratch, has lots of fun doing it, maybe he could get me that 3.5 hehe, but I would trust the dealer to install CAI for me, dont worry ill work on the labor price. He said on the high end, not actual quote.

I'd say $275 installed is a good price...

In my opinion you are getting ripped off. I recently bought an AEM CAI for $200 out the door. Easy to install even if your not a mechanic and it bolts right in.

I agree, you're getting ripped off. Actually, it depends. If the price you listed is for the intake WITH installation, then it's not too bad, but if it's just for the intake, you're getting ripped off. I got my blue Injen (similar to AEM) for $220 or something like that. Took me about 2 hours to install and I'm not mechanical. That means your neighbor should have it in in under an hour. You can throw him $50 as a thank you and your still only at $270 installed.....
