255.7/222.5 scans if someone ca host them my a/f fell of rapidly from 14.7 at 3400 down towards 13.75 to 4200 then dips again to 13.5 until 5K then it falls hard again to 12.7 only to bounce back up to 13.2 at around 6200 where it slowly dips below 13 until redline

Let me know if you need them put up.

BTW, very nice number, pretty much exactly where Doug's runs were at. The torque is also very impressive.

As I would have thought, the car is running a bit lean. You probably should be running right around the 13.0:1 range the entire run.

Looks lean... I'd be scared to see what the UniChip will do to lean it out even more

very nice numbers, is that just purely the 3.5's power or any other mods on it?

14.7 is a bit high for my taste, but at least it drops right away.

i would be stoked if my n/a dyno looked like that.

TypeR would put bus lengths on most of us in n/a form.

After looking at my dyno, my A/F with the UniChip is about the same as yours is right now. It was very high 14s before 3500 RPM, then it settles in at 13.2-13.4... slight dip at 5700-6000 RPM down to 13.1 then back up to 13.6-13.8.

If the UniChip could lean you out more in VTEC to around 13.5 you'd probably pick up even more power. I'm assuming you are going to need a custom tune with the 3.5L?

On N NA car you need to run a tad lean to maximize horsepower gains... it won't damage anything.

Your torque increase is amazing. My dyno showed peak torque of 201 around 2500-3000 rpm. After that it dropped off to around 185. You are at 210-220 throughout.

The tq curve is nice, but thats really only 15-20lb ft more than stock. Its the hp that impresses me though. Any reason for the drop-off at 6k rpm? I woulda thought with all your mods it would continue to pull to 7k.

IMO, longer stroke is running out of air... The air velocity/charging is pumped up through the midrange. The rod ratio is also changed.

The curve is pretty typical of strokers.

+ the intake air resonance charging reacts differently to the varied displacement of the 3.5L.

The other issue that shouldn't be neglected is the nice fat chunk of HP/TQ that is showing up at the "hefty" part of the 1/4 mile where the aero forces are really nasty at close to 90- to 100-MPH and the auto is in 3rd gear pulling "around" 5- to 6-k revs.

If there was ever an argument or compelling argument for "area under the curve,", IMO, this would be it...

Not quite, peak torque may only be 15-20lb/ft more, but on my automatic J32 with similar mods to TypeR, my peak torque occured at 2500-3000 rpm and then dropped to around 185-190 throughout. I see this as a 30-35 lb/ft increase.

Nope, an '01 5AT. A 5AT normally only puts down about 180 lb/ft with headers. So that is a huge jump in torque.

This exact one was done by a person at a dealer in FL but he is no llnger openly making it available. The short block prepped was about $2500 not including the removal and reinstallation of the engine.

I suspect there were some other minor aspect which typeR could fill in.
