basically like this...the part is warrantyd by doug full 1 yr replacement...the install regular warranty...the rest of the power train...by incident evaluation...meaning if the tranny goes im probablly covered the only reason it's touchy is the increased power...but concidering i have one replaced at lower power and the number of incidents it shouldnt be a problem

Why aren't you having Doug install it? That way you could ask about the RES .

In the dyno chart why does the test for the 3.5 start at 3.8K RPMs?

OK so for $2.5K we get a 'new' block, pistons, conecting rods, and crank. Hmmm I like.

I say leave the 3.2 on the back. Ultimate sleeper for the idiots that lurke our boards. When you pull beside mustangs and shit, the look on their face will be priceless.

well i agree but the chances of someone knowing the difference and even recognizing it when they see it are little to none...not only will i 3.5 it but call it rice im getting a JDM typeR badge from the accord or current integra just so i can live up to my name
lets face it...it's no longer a type S at that point anyway...and if someone trys to give me shit...i can back it up

One advice, order the short block for the MDX yourself ($1.5k), have some new rods and pistons for $500 and you would save some $500.It is not rocket sicence, I think the short block does not need any special machining for mating with top of the CL-S

no not even close...315/260 but to put this in prospective at an 1/8th mile track a stock cl-S runs between 10.0 and 9.7 i run 9.5 to 9.4 the 3.5 has done a 9.1 with poor traction...i think my draggers might solve that problem and could bring a 8.9** this winter 8.9** is a given into the high 13's 1/4
so it's no miracle drug but ,it'll hange with some of the big boys
