3.5 L Vs. GTO

GTO gets walked...i even gave this guy the advantage of rolling out with him instead of hitting it straight off the line....i would think the GTO would have the top end on me still but i pulled all the way to just under 100 at 3+ oh and this was a manual

Good run. I haven't had the opportunity yet to see a GTO run...on the street or the track.

Nice kill...

Haven't had a chance yet to run a goat... but judging from my kills of fbirds, stangs and z28s, a goat shouldn't pose too much of a problem...

Oh no, now I've done it, here come the flames...

How pricey is the 3.5L swap in comparison to the SC?

Looks good. I didn't realize a 3.5 conversion gave such gains.

The difference is astonishing. Low 14 sec car vs low 13 sec car. I think the LS2 gives them 500 more RPM, so it stays in the power longer and higher.

Looking at the graph, I honestly am surprised you took him. 250whp doesn't seem like enough, have you done an weight reduction.

what are you running? I have seen that pig GTO run mid 13's all the way to low 14's. When i went to the track in my Trans Am, i ran a best of 13.4. 13.8 was my highest.

Depending on the driver, stock GTO (LS1) should run mid 13s.
I believe Type R times should be the same.
