i thought this was really funny..

i know this scenario runs in my mind .. but it actually happened..

me and my friend(girl) is going to another friends house.. .. i hear a car from like 30 yards back.. the system was bumpin.. dark green corolla.. super tinted windows, but it was half open.. it was a guy and his friends.. both mexican..(nothing against 'em).. and so we stop at a light..
i knew this guy drives fast, because he came up from behind so fast.. so i told my friend.. i know this street, theres a cop sitting at the end of it, like half of the time i drive up it, i think it would REALLY funny if they got a ticket.. sooOoooooo.. i gunned it at the green light..he went for it also.. first gear killed him by 1.5 car lengths (good thing for vtec).. 2nd gear up to about 65 i was killin him by liike 3-4 car lengths.. .. .. so i chilled out.. and went back to 45-50 mph (spd limit = 45).. so when i slow down.. this guy keeps accelerating.. i was like.. watever.. and hes like doing 80+.. hes about 100-150 yards ahead of me and i lost sight of his car.. it was too far ahead. haha.. he prolly thought he won.,. but he really just bit my bait... .. and so this street block is about a mile long.. as i get to the next light.. .. guess wat i saw..

same corolla, pulled over, with a cop's lights on his super tinted windows.. .. he prolly hates me

man.. it was like a dream

 

 

o yeah.. for those of u local to Orange County..

i saw him come up from behind me... i would estimate 60-0 at the stop light..

i just gave him a ticket at 80 instead of 60..

well.. the only cars i really race are cars that would kick my butt..

like porsches, corvetts, 350z, WRX's.. of that sort.. because its fun to see their power.. .. chances are.. i will NOT get a ticket.. i will not go over the speed limit on local streets that often..

i already have gotten a ticket 5 years ago.. going 52 in a 40zone..

i learned my lesson.. so should he!

 

Hmmm. Hmmmmmmmmmm. I actually fail to see what it is exactly you think you've learned...given your story. When my radar goes off I let others around me know what's up. The two guys sound like they were just out for a friendly race and you "teach" them by getting them into trouble. Hmmmm.

and i really didnt know if the cop was up ahead or not.. .. its just 50-50 or less.. thats why i thought.. it WOULD be funny if that happened..

i know all the places these cops hide in my city, and the cities surrounding.. because i obey the speed limit now, and im not caught doing dumb things on these known streets..

that cop in this case, is up there normally catching illegal turns.. which happen alot at that intersection..

normally not looking for speed..

but im sure if he saw that car come up that fast.. he would get "unsafe driving" or watever..

most street races ive been in dont go over 70.. coz usually ive lost.. and i slow down..

actually both of us slow down, i give em props for SERVING my ass.. and on goes life.. this guy sped off like he had something to prove.. which was his stupidity .. big wow..

 

Nobody held a gun to his head and made him race. Plenty of times I get offers, but I'm retired from street racing after nearly being arrested. You know the old saying, "Don't do the crime..."

 

so far.. 5- thought it was funny, or did not bitch about it and 3- disapproved

Why are you guys giving him a hard time? You race on the street, you live with the consequences.

Knowing your surroundings (UCiCL30) is like knowing you mods on your car, using and knowing when to use it is to your advantage, the only a benefit.

When my radar goes off, I NEVER let anyone around me know (hence my V1 concealed display), I downshift and don't brake, let the other assholes who are speeding along take the bait. Tough luck, sucks, so do tickets. I rather have someone else get pulled over than me. I have the advantage and they don't....

It's always the drivers fault if they get a ticket for speeding. Doesn't matter who "baited" them or how they got it. Speeding is speeding.

 

i kno this is pretty random but i juss realized u and i live prob right next to each other lol. i live on 166th and carmenita. i kno this is random but im juss surprised to see some1 from cerritos on this forum even tho we have different model cars. wat color is ur car? mayb ive seen u around? lol mayb we can run for fun.
