2G CL-S6 manual transmission question
Hi I just recently bought a cl-s6 and I was curious if anyone knows where to find manual transmission mounts for this car or have a cross numbered part # for this car just because I only see the oem is discounted at my dealership and Im having a hard time seeing if there is any aftermarket transmission mounts only I only need the 2 mounts on the driver side of the car. Thank you in Advance!

If you have a facecreep membership, find the CL-S6 group page or J-Series pages & post what you need. Someone will lead you to the 'group buy' page of a guy who is trying to have these 'unobtainium' trans mounts made. From what I see, they will be offered as a set ($325-$375) that will bolt into there place or replacement bushings only (no price determined yet) that can be ordered to 'press' into your existing metal trans. mounts.

That sucks I wish they just used the same stuff on the 3rd gen tl 6 speed because I looked on my dealership computer at the Acura I work at and they said discontinued which makes sense since they're 21 years old with 3500ish being made but still sucks lol

Try and send me a private message and I will give you the facecreep link to the 'group buy' so you can check it out.

I called the 'Tech line' for the manufacturer Pioneer Automotive Industries | Automatic Transmission Parts (pioneerautoinc.com)
and informed them that their catalog is incorrect.
These trans. mounts are for automatic transmission cars only.
As you can see RA has these 'mislabled' and so does Summit, based on source manufacturer information.
I told the individual, who seemed to care , if his company wanted to make actual front 50805-S3M-A03 & rear 50806-S3M-A03 trans. mounts for the 2003 CL-S six speed that they are OEM 'discontinued' and there is no current aftermarket 'clone' alternatives available.

I am dumb
They are discontinued and no aftermarket company makes them for mass marketing.

Kinda tempted to just make my own molds and see if I can't just pour my own bushings that's close to OEM at this point. Can't be that hard, right? Right...? I WILL DIY ANYTHING, just as soon as I work up the motivation and stop being a lazy ass.
The transmission is the same as the 3G, with some slight changes. But to use the newer mounts (I forget which, review my thread), you would need to tap a hole on the transmission itself, which is just an empty space that the newer transmissions use for a bolt hole.
So I, personally, believe it is possible, but a lot of work is involved. I personally don't want to go hacking up parts from a car that had a limited run with many discontinued parts to find out.

I believe I've seen this post myself. Aren't they polyurethane bushings? From what I've read, you want softer bushings for transmission mounts, compared to engine mounts. So I'd be kinda worried about going with stiffer bushings personally. But I mean hey, it's still an alternative.
Yeah, that's the one I sent to you, as an 'FYI', in a PM weeks ago.
I'm not in a hurry to spend $325-375 on those though.
