2 days ago.. I was going to UCI from San Diego.. i live in arcadia but i went to SD to look for a new apartment because i m goingto SDSU in 2 month.. and i had my GF with me and she goes to UCI so i had to drop her off... so i got off 5 freeway at Culver exit.
after i came down the freeway, i saw a New BMW 3 Series was kinda playing around with that black RX7( DONT KNOW WHAT YEAR... but it s the newer ones with circle black tailights)

i wasnt gonna keep up with them or anything. but at the next intersection.. the 3 series changed into the left turning lane... so i was like "Oh shit... Let me go test it out even know i knew i was gonna loose" so i pulled in to the leftlane and the RX7 was in right lane. and there was a gold accord(97-) behind me and they were pointinig at my car( ithnk they were saying we were gonna race, because i cut him off to pull next to the RX7).
i looked at the RX7 guy, he was a white guy with glass and around age of 30.. and my gf was tellin me i had to Make a right at the next light,,, which is about 1/4 miles down and i told her " i know.. if i cant beat him then i will justlet him go then i turn"
i put into SS with VSA off.

the light turned i stepped in and for some reason my tires didnt spin that much , just a bit. so i asumme i have a better launch. and fromt he beginning i already have half a car length ahead... and that was it... fromt he beginning till the end and i could hear that rx7's LOUD ass exhausts with blowpass valve

i only raced him in 2nd gear.. and at theend of the race.. my redline cut off my fuel... that was the first time my car cut off fuel on me.. FElt weird but hahah I KNOw if we race again iwill loose for sure... BUT WHO CARES I WON!!!!!

I have both an RX7 and a CL Type S. There is no way in hell that my CL can keep up with my Rex. In both stock forms they're pretty much equal in terms of HP but it's the manual that helps the Rex come out on top. Mods on the other hand is a different story. A mildly modded Rex will BLOW the doors off a CL Type S. Well, good kill.
Oh it's called a blowoff valve.

good solo race. RX is a fast car. You may have took him off the line but at top end we would lose any day. Remember the beauty of the CL-S, it can run with some of the big boys when needed and rides like the fancy cars with out having to shell out 45k.

Is yours turbo? Whats the specs on it..if you odn't mind me asking. I've been looking for one of those or a TT supra ever since I got my license. If you ever down to sell, lemme know.
