23's from the dealer??

I have heard that if you buy a car from a dealership they will put rims on the car for you if you ask. For instance a guy from a performance shop around me was telling me he just put 23's on a caddy truck for someone who was about to buy it. The dealer just tags the price into the total. For some it might be easier to pay it off in installments (although the dealer will make their money) then to fork out all that up front. Is this true??

yea a dealer will tack on whatever the fuck u want to the loan...

the bank just has to agree to paying that much for the car... doubtful if its a lease.

and you have to remember youll be payin interest on wheels, perf parts, etc.

defeats purpose of putting downpayment on car...

btw, many of the dealers round here have tricked out new cars sitting in their lots.

even the acura dealer has a handful of TLS/CLS/RSXS with performance parts, wheels, etc.

but its real big in the truck market... dodge dealer has nothing but Durangos, & Rams with 22's on their front lawn. Same with caddy.

My dealer offered me the same thing. They had a rim/tire shop that they dealt with, whatever he had, they would put on and just add it to the price of the car. Goes right to the loan!!! Nice if you know exactly what you want when you buy the car!!!! I chose to get the stock chrome rims.

The Ac dealer near my house had a Comptech CL when I went there to look!! I was Black, with Comptech headers, exhaust, springs, and sways. It even had 18's on it already!!!!! Looked good!!! They wanted $42K, so I walked out!!!!! But it was cool seeing the dealer do all the work for you and have it all under warranty!!!!

Dealers will charge a fortune for aftermarket stuff. For example, at the Caddy dealer down the street there's a 70k Escalade sitting on there with 23s, billet grills, Clarion TV package, etc...they tag on $900 for the billet grill! If you want to make payments on rims, your best bet is to buy a stock vehicle and finance rims through Sears or Discount Tire.

Damnit I was just about to post this.

So i'll just correct a few things. They want $77K for the EXT, the Billet grill was a $2,000 option!!!!. they are charging $15K for the 23s rim and tire package, Althought you can buy them yourself for $10K

My favorite is the Caddy Deville at Legends Caddy that is charging $5K for 18" Gionvanna Bolvanos with Dunlop Tires.
The 18s are $2K and the tires are about $800
hahah Nice Premium

Ed Volyes Acura in Atlanta had an RSX-S with 19" Axis Hagens, lowered with comptech springs i think. It looked sweet, it was a 4.5k option

Sears has one of the highest interest rates out there!!!!!! I recommend finding a place that offers no payments/interest for 90 days, then just pay them off, or if you cant do that.... get a credit card with a low interest rate (my visa platinum is a fixed 7.9%) And pay them off on there..... just my 2 cents. ...

Acura had a white TL Type S with 18" wheels and some sort of Aero package (not factory offered) in the showroom for sale for $36,000 (w/Navigation). Looked sharp.
