235/45/17 on 17x8, 50mm offset, Comptech springs...ALL CLEAR!!!!

How about 245/40/17 ???has anyone tried them??

the problem with that is not so mauch the width but the side wall...ive had 245/45/17's on stocks but going to the 40 side wall i think it would nt stay in..

The wheel is a 17x 8 whickh is perfect for a 245

oh...i should have paid more attention...well it would be close...i had some rub from my 245/45/17's when they were on my friend enkie rp-02's they were a 42 offset though and stuck out of the fender well...i only rubbed when i cornered hard and hit a bump...


i just checked toyo...8.0 is minimum but the outside diameter is 24.8...it might help at the track...but you'll put miles on like a bitch...

Yes, it's been done. They are on a non-lowered CLS with SSR Competitions (17x8 +48). I don't know how the rub would be on a lowered car.
