235/40s on 18x8s?

Has anyone successfully put 235/40s on 18x8s without rubbing and without fender rolling? If so, what was your offset and suspension setup?

I am looking at a set of 18x8s with a 45 offset and would love to put 235/40 18s on them to closely match the stock diameter. But I don't know if that will work. I have Comptech Springs and Konis.

I was actually thinking of getting tires clsoe to that size...and hell NO I don't want 'em rubbing....I am thinking of going with 225 instead of 235

Anything above 45 is fine. Anything lower & you will have problem, I had 42 & rubbed with 235's.
