22,500 serviceand wipers
22,500 serviceand wipers
Went in for service and complained about streaking wipers again. Already did service bulletin and had wipers replaced twice. They again replaced the wipers and by the time I gor home I had the worst streaking yet. The new wiper had some type of air foil on it that seemed designed to keep the wiper on the glass. When i turned them on, it sort of looked like a double wiper but it wasn't. Anybody have one of these new Acura wipers?
The car seemed much better after the service for some reason. Much more solid?? All they did was a bunch of inspections, balance and rotate, and top off fluids. Seems like new again. It was over $130 but after driving it was money well spent. They said my tranny was fine after I asked them to closely inspect it and the fluid.

I complained about my wipers after 5K miles. They came out and replaced them and gave me some cr@p about them being "frozen". They still streak and completely miss some spots on the passenger side. They are terrible and I will be buying aftermarket wipers.
You sure the car was better or was it that it was nice and clean, vacuumed out and you were missing it?

My wipers were replaced pretty soona fter I got the car...under the service bulletin campaign thing. But, I just had new winter blades put on, and the driver's side blade streaks and smudges like hell. I'm wondering of the hoses need to be replaced again.
