2017 Advance/Elite Rain Sensing Wipers

Had an issue with the rain sensing wipers not working and finally found a fix which maybe useful for you to know.

my problem was that I only had the intermittent function when I positioned the stock to auto (first position down). There was no issue with the sensor or windshield.

The fix was to pull the BACKUP (10 A) and AUDIO (15 A) fuses which are #6 and #29 on the my RDX (can be different positions on other Honda/Acura models) then reinstall them and turn the ignition to ON. This will force the system to seek out the rainfall sensor and the wipers should then work properly.

Best...
