2003 Fog Light Options

Ok, so most of you know that Acura opted out to put fog lights on the 03 CL. I know several of you have put the 01-02 fogs on the 03 CL, but my question is.... Is it possible to swap the high beams with some 4500 kelvin yellow HIDs? Will the beam be to high, or can it be adjusted to light like a fog light? Has anyone done this? I don't need high beams and would much rather match my blue HIDs with some yellow HID fogs.

Suggestions?

I think the position of the headlamp that high off the road would make it pretty ineffective for added visibility while driving in fog.

not necessarily, my 98 TL had fogs right next to the headlights, it would just be a matter of reaiming the high beams down

Thats the way the 3g TL's fogs are, but I'm pretty sure the high beams on our cars are not adjustable.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you try to adjust the highbeam down, you are also doing the same thing to the lowbeam at the same time. I'm almost positive they move together not separately.

Since the high beam is not HID, you'd have to convert it to HID. And yes you can only adjust the low beams. But that also adjusts the high beams at the same time.
Way easier to just mount some external lights & wire those to a switch.
