I am trying find a CAI for the 03 speed and cant seem to find one. Most people are modifying the one for the 02 but I want a direct bolt on so I dont have to cut the factory intake apart. Please help if you know someone who is makeing them. Links would be great.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys.... The 2001+ CL-S intake can be use into 03 CL-S... Shawn S had 2001 CL-S with CAI, and he traded in for 03 6spd... He said the 2001 CAI is swappable with 03 CL-S..

 

The 01-02 intake has the MAF on the outside of the plastic housing while my 03 is in the inside and I have to take off the acura intake cover to see it. If I am correct it would be about 6 inches to short and you would have to cut the rubber tube and just stick the intake in there.

 

There is no MAF on a CL, we use speed density system for load calculation. The difference is that there is no VSA on an '03 6-Speed, hence there is no VSA throttle.

Right now there would not be a direct bolt in stated for the 6-Speed. But earlier model Accord/TL intake would probably work.

Until I pick up my 6-Speed though, I can't say for sure...

 

IF you dont read your email first, the V6 Accord intake by INJEN fits our 03 6 speeds...I know cause I have one.

 

Any intake design like the AEM that has the coolant connection will NOT fit the 6-Speed without modifications because of the Throttle Body differences.
Mine is the Xephyr design, which is a direct swap with the 2001/2002.
Unfortunately you can’t get the Xephyr intake anymore.

I’m not familiar with the Injen intake, but if a 6-Speed owner says it fits, I guess it fits.
