I've owned an '02 CL-S since new. I haven't had any problems with it and I do meticulous maintenance on it. It now has 39,000 miles on it. I didn't buy the extended warranty as it was an extra huge chunk of money. Was I a fool for not buying the extended? Has anyone used their extended for things other than the notorious transmission problems (which is covered for 100K)? I had a '95 Honda Accord, and although it was a very reliable car, it did have the ABS pump go out, the front boots both went out, the motor mounts went...just typical stuff with age. But being a Honda product too, similar things may go out on my CL-S. I could probably buy an extended now, but it would cost an arm and a leg.

dont purchase mastertech and i think a safe bet would be to purchase a Acura Care Extended warranty...
