When changing my fuel tank, I screwed up and let the cat end of the exhaust fall (didn't mean to, it slipped while I was adjusting the wire I was suspending it with), and now I've got a bad exhaust leak out of the Flex Pipe just forward of the cat. At least it looks like it is from the flex pipe, I haven't crawled under there yet to get a better look.
Does anyone know:
1. Where I can get a whole new front exhaust pipe (part 18210-S3M-A11), as it is a different part number than for the non-type-s
2. If I can't get a new pipe, what size the flex pipe is so I can order a new one to weld in (or a part number/link to one that will work)?
If anyone has any other recommendations, please let me know!
Here's one straight from Japan, you'd probably have to establish an account to get the availability & shipping cost?
This one shows the part number 18210-S3M-A11; however, it say that it does not fit?
Search the 753-019 part number to see if a local vendor carries one and give them a call?
I've seen those listing that have the correct part number listed, along with others. So I don't know if maybe the Non Type-S would fit?
Unfortunately, you may have to 'roll the dice' to find out, or just stop into a local muffler shop and have your exhaust / flex pipe evaluated for repair?
Acutally, I did some looking, and it looks like there is at least one 2001 CL type-s in a junkyard 6 minutes from my house, so I may be able to get what I need from there. If not, yeah I may just try one of those random ones online. Don't know about taking it to a local muffler shop, the last time I brought it there for an estimate (for fixing where the exhaust connects to the cat, which is one big blob of rust), they looked out the window, and went "oh it's a honda? no way"

It's worth a look and hopefully you are lucky.
However, in my experience with salvage yards, when they process a car and 'harvest' the cat. converter, it does not end well for the A-pipe at the flange connection below.
