My CL has been running fine, it has alot of miles ( 225,000 ) but it still runs like a champ. Last night my gas light came on right before I pulled in my driveway, I parked and left there for the night. This morning I woke up ( it was about 80 degrees out side ) I drove to the gas station which is a mobil station about 2 miles from my house. I put $40 of premium in the tank and drove for about 10 miles and everything was fine, I was actually talking to my buddy that was in the car with me telling him how great my car has been running. So I pulled into a Dunkin donuts to grab a coffee and about a minute after I parked my car just shut off, I tried to start it about five or six times with no luck. So I just went in and got my coffee and when I came out I tried starting it again and on the third try it started right up and ran for about 30 seconds maybe a minute and shut off again and that was the last sign of life that I've seen. There is plenty of power from the battery, the starter is working and I can hear the main relay clicking so its none of those. Maybe its the fuel pump or something like that??

Someone please help !!! I have all the service manuals and I'm a decent mechanic but I don't want to just start taking everything apart without some what of an idea of where to start. The check engine light hasn't come on which really sucks because at least that would of pointed me in the right direction. PLEASE HELP!!!

I'm thinking you may have some bad gas. Try running a fuel cleaner like Lucas or Seafoam through it. Both can be found at your local auto parts store.
