they only charged me $36 for shipping. if this thing fits, it's not a bad deal for $146 shipped, and then probably another 80-100 for painting it.

I emailed the seller a while ago and he sent me an image of the back. i will post it up after work if anyone is interested, but it looked like it had all of the necessary screw holes in the correct positions from what I remember when I took my grill apart.

i think it looks good on that white TL, might even look a little better with a smaller "Type-S" emblem in like the lower right corner of the grille, or even just an acura emblem

i might as well just do a review on the grill...

underst8,
not really any modifications required other than painting to match.

fitment is 8/10. you have to bend the mesh a little and there is minor gaps around the grill surround. the grill is not near oem quality. for example the mounts, bolts, and the holes drilled in the fiberglass are pretty cheap. but that said, there is no major issues with the grill.

you might want to change the back mesh with a grill type from another car, or at least just respray the back mesh flat black. (its glass black out of the box)

if you dont choose to cut the hood support, spraying the hood support behind the grill flat black is a must. if you dont have a black cl you will see it through the mesh and it WILL look hideous

if you really want to rock the acura emblem, the 05-06 rsx front emblem sits on a plastic backing. you can fit this emblem on the mesh. or even if you want to try it, use the entire grill mesh from the rsx (havent tried it yet) it looks like it might be too small.

i like it without any emblem.

the grill takes a week or more because its coming from china, but considering how far its coming from, i got it in pretty fast.

I Think It Looked Great On The White Car, But On The Cl It Looks Like Bad Fitment. Daytime Pics Needed.
Isnt There A Sundance Gold Cl-s On Here With The Same Grill, From Like Years Ago. Air-ride And Color Matched Headlights Too. Dunno?

I believe the PDG's name was farbeast or something like that. He did his same idea with his stock grill. Also had the headlights painted to match, one long led third break light along the entire back window, hydrolic, etc.

alright guys, i tried to mount this on my carbon fiber hood, no go. the mounting points on the grill are fine for stock locations, but i had to drill my own holes in my cf hood so that's not the grills fault. also the way the cf hood is fiberglassed underneath prevents a flush fit. i had a gap along the top. so i have a feeling this would work on a stock hood fairly well. whoever has a stock hood should give this a shot, i'll sell mine, how is 120 shipped? that's cheaper than ebay and considering this came from taiwan you wouldn't have to wait either.

and is just me or does it seem like the grill is smaller than what it's supposed to cover? seems like there's a big empty gap on the bottom...
