Hi,

I tried the method as mentioned here to retrieve my radio code, after replacing my battery. I don't get 4 no's after pressing the 1 and 6 buttons on the radio. I also looked inside my glove box only to find out the numbers there aren't the radio code.

HELP. I don't want to pay to take the radio out to get the serial no. etc.

Any suggestions??

 

i dont know if the 2000 are the same as the 01-03's, try posting in the 1st generation cl forum

lol me too, I was like "wtf" when I saw 2000 3.0CL, lol

look in the glovebox, behind/on the ashtray, under the lid of the fuse box, or in the owners manual.

 

If it's a 3.0L, it's gotta be 97-99... if it's a 3.2, it's a 2001-2003...

One the 2nd gen, it's more involved then just pushing the 1 and 6 buttons, you have to follow all the steps listed here:

If this a 97-99 CL, let me know, and I can move this thread into the 1st gen CL forum.

 

If you could move this to the first generation I'd appreciate it. I'm still not having any luck with the procedure listed above, and have looked all over the car for any numbers.
