2 Questions!

Where can i find after market calipers for my 01 cl. I dont want to use legend or nsx one, are there something else out there?

And if i didnt put on the leaky flex pipe and just the 2 headers, would that solve the noise and leak problem? Would i still get all the hp i need? Where does the hp come from headers or b pipe more?

We had a brake discussion just the other day:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=189020

My rotors are warped, so I've been paying more attention to the brake threads lately.

You can get a big brake kit from Wilwood, Rotora or Brembo. I think the Legend and NXS calipers is a good substitute though.

Isn't the flex pipe larger than stock? Then I'd think you get less hp by not using the aftermarket flex pipe. I'm not sure if it even fits.

Just to get this straight we should switch to:

1. legend or nsx calipers or * bbk calipers *
2. Rotora rotors
3. greenstuff/axxis pads
4. ss brake lines

ROTORA not only offers multiplte BBK's for the CL but they also offer just replacement calipers. It is a 4 piston caliper w/ brackets, pads, and SS brake lines for the front, but it uses the stock 1 pc disc. Granted the larger 13" rotor is nice but if you just want to upgrade calipers this is also an option. The caliper kits goes for about $1100 shipped. The BBK's w/ new 13" discs start at $1300.

How much are Legend Calipers & pads for the front ?

The Legend calipers are about $70 each. You'll have to put up a core charge too. I think around $50 each. Pads will run about $100 for the pair. You don't have to change brake lines, but most people do.

Just my but I would recommend getting some ss brake lines since you'll be changing them anyways. Then you wouldn't worry about them for quite some time.
