first off will a comptech cat-back exhaust off a '03 TL fit a '01 CL? im wondering if it would be too long. secondly would i be able to fit my HKS

The TL exhaust is a bit longer.

Why not just have a shop make a b-pipe to connect your axle-back to your cat? It's cheaper.

the thing is i just bought a s/c today and i want to upgrade my exhaust and i know someone selling a comptech cat-back for $500. so instead of getting a custom exhaust done i want to get his im thinking it would be cheaper that way. so your saying i should get a shorter b-pipe made and it could fit. then i could sell the mufflers to make some money back.

If you already have the axle-backs, why even bother getting the cat-back? A b-pipe doesn't cost anywhere near $500 to have made at any exhaust shop.

I understand that, but don't you already have the superdraggers? The b-pipe is a very easy thing to fab up.

What cat-back did you end up buying?

yea i been had the superdraggers. i dont have any other exhaust part yet. i want to use the whole comptech catback and just fab a shorter b-pipe to make it fit.

You are going to spend more money buying a Comptech B pipe and cutting it to work with your car but if thats what you wana do then go for it BUT a custom made B pipe would only cost MAX $200 and would be cutom fit for your CL. You could also use your HKS axle backs you have with it.
