2 deaths & 1 kill

Ran into a few buddies yesterday on the highway, late at night, we decided to have some fun.

Death #1: Stock-ish SRT-4, running 19psi however. Ran from 50-120... he put a couple buslengths on me.

Death #2: 1st gen Acura EL boosting 7lbs (approx 200whp). Ran from 60-100, he put about 3 cars on me.

Kill: MX3 with a 2.5L swap + other stuff (approx 200whp too). We didn't really officially run, as we were watching the above 2 cars go at it from behind. But I pulled him slightly in each gear and then destroyed him in 4th. He was gunning it all the way, so I know he didn't let off.

Well sorry for the lack of detail, but it was a fun highway drive. Made me realize my car is slow after all. I started feeling all cocky after pulling that LT1 - this will shut me up for a bit.

Well... I make about, hmmm say 225whp (230whp to be generous) and weight 3400lbs. He makes 200whp but weights only 2600lbs. If you do the math, odds are on his side.

If you're stock its closer to 215-220whp, I dont think anyone has put down 225whp stock.

It's alot more complex than just power/weight. You have something he doesn't. TORQUE!

So does a boosted d-series due to their rod/stroke ratio.

His hp/weight and tq/weight are both superior to mine.
