well i was on my way home from hockey and i caught a light with one of my buddies from the other team in his parents base-Altima (newer version) and he wanted to go...so i agree and when the light turns green we both go at it, it was pretty close at the start but towards the end of 2nd he was 2 cars back and i just shut down...

we caught the next light again and he started laughing cuz the car is soo damn slow....are the newer base Altimas actually that slow or is this guy just a

I dont have any experience with the QR25DE powered Altimas, just the VQ powered ones. You could check on Altimas.net to see what the 4 cylinders are running. On paper, I would think the 4 cylinder Alti should be able to take my 99 Accord thus, your 2.2CL as well. I know from experience that the 1G/2G Altimas are quicker than my 99 Accord.
