that would look stupid, putting different size rims on the front and back, it works for RWD cars but not ours. just do 19x8 or 18x7.5 all over with a comptech drop. it'll cost a lil more but it would be worth it. but then again the drop is optional, most people wouldnt touch rims if a drop wasnt involved, but its your call. but i'd def say stay away from larger in the front, it'd look silly and i wouldnt expect much of a difference from .5 inch width change.

Got it the other way around

I was planning on doing that myself where I put 18's on the front and 19's on the back. I dont know why you would want 19's on the front since our cars are Front wheel drive and not Rear. but if you put 19's on back and 18's on front you cant really tell the differnce... in size only if your really anal.. but if you dont drop your car I think there would be a notice and wouldnt look right. So if your going to do that just drop your car.. if not.. then get all same size.

GOod Luck

Don't do it. It's a front driver. Get the same size all around or you'll be sorry. It won't corner right either.

RIMS

MY BAD, I DID MEAN FOR THE 19X8 IN BACK AND 18X7.5 IN FRONT. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST TO GET THE KIT TO DROP THE CAR????
I HAVE SEEN CLS WITH 19S AND NOT DROPPED AND LOOKS PRETTY GOOD.....THE RIMS COVER MOST OF THE GAP BETTWEEN THE TIRES AND FENDER.

I will say one thing and it is just personal taste, but I love the look that 19s bring to the CL this is my third set of wheels and by far my favorite. (see pics below -post accident-) However I have my car lowered substantialy with a H&R RACE drop, but you could pick up the less serve CTs or H&R (sports), the sports are going to run you less, Eibach also makes a good kit at a reasonable price (pro kit, right?), anyways do a search for comments on the different kits, should be able to buy any of the kits cept CTs for under $200. Another personal advice piece, I orignally had the CT springs on the car and was actaully disappointed for the money (not enough drop, but more exspensive the all the others, not that drop amount affects price or anything). Let me know what you think of the ride and what rims you are looking at! good to have you aboard.
