19x8 Chromed Axis Muse Rims just put on my CL
Just got new 19x8 Chromed Axis Muse rims put on my 2001 CL today. The tires I got are 225/35/19 Nitto NT555s. Also, the car is lowered with Eibach springs. Let me know what you guys think.

Yeah....I've love to lower it another inch or so in the front and 3/4 of an inch in the back, but i'll leave well enough alone. Plus, the other great thing is, after gettin aligned, I only have -.8 negative camber in the front and -1.1 negative camber in the back so I didnt have to folk out more $$$$ for camber kits.
Thankx for the positive input guys , it was a long tough decision on which 19s I was gonna get, but these just looked the best.

Yeah, let me just detail the car a little bit this afternoon and I'll post more pix, including close-ups. It's just a little too hot to do it now.

too hot??? You're in CA! I'm working on Zaino Z5 coat number 3 right now and it's 110 degress outside. One bottle down...
I'm just messin with you about lowering it. That is a great height, and if you have no camber more power to ya! I had my hammered on 19s and wore through a set of tires in 2 months. Alignment is a good thing
BTW, with the temp so high my Zaino dries in about 10 mins. Is it bad to do coats that quick? Thanks.

One step ahead of ya, the wheel locks were the first thing on my mind when the rims were mounted onto the car. You cant really tell unless you feel around the lugs that there is a wheel lock on.

WOW!
I have to say that that is probably the best looking wheel for this vehicle I have seen yet. This is the first combo that I have looked at and said, "I have to have that." I've been trying to figure out how I could get my CL-S stolen, and I think this is the way! :P
I have a few questions. Do you get any rubbing whatsoever with this setup? Was the already large turning radius of the vehicle compromised at all because of not being able to turn the wheels as sharply as with the stock config? Could you describe some of the characteristics of the handling and ride with this setup?
Thanks a lot for sharing these pics. Beautiful!

BTW, nice ride! I'm assuming you're using the Eibach Pro-Kit and not the Sportlines, right? How much rubbing do you get with that setup? I have Comptech springs right now, but I want to see how much lower I can go with a 45 offset on 19X8 wheels without really rubbing.

I have the Eibach Sportlines set-up. I have no rubbing at all with the set-up I got. The turning radius and the steering have no been affected at all. However, the ride is a little stiffer (ie you feel the road more) and the car does handle better in banked turns and alike. I just have to make sure I go real slow over speedbumps, dips, and driveways cuz the tires have such a low profile. I love the way the rims look on the car and how it drives compared to the stock set-up, sway bars might be next on my list.

How much lower are the Comptech springs than the Eibachs??? On my car, tt looks like there may be another go 1/2 inch to lower and you'd still have no clearance issues. I'll take some pictures of the entire car this weekend.

Hey mracuraclnSoCal,
If it's not too much trouble, could you pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez find out exactly what the offset of your wheels are? I want my ride to have the exact same profile... and not rub at all!
Thanks a lot!
