1997 Lotus Esprit TT or California??????
I need some help with this.
I can either buy a Lotus Esprit right now and NOT move to california (since all my savings will help with putting the $ for downpayment) OR I can move to california with my $ in hand and look for a job when I get there.
Yellow Lotus Esprit or California? What would you do?
That is the picture of the car from the dealer.

I'm in the staffing industry in the Bay area for the past 13 years, STAY BACK EAST and buy that car !
I don't anticipate the market getting better before mid next year !

I say, save your money for the rainy days ahead.. the job market is sh!t out here right now..
For example, if you do search for jobs for ASP, XML, JAVA, Web stuff.. there used to be 3000 hits.. but now you may be lucky to get 300..
Quite honestly, if you really had to choose, I say move out here to Cali, it's the best place to live IMO..

Cali is the shit..I would move their in a second if I could...dope weather..doper girls and no fkin humidity like Chicago summers! But these guys are right about the job market, it's not a good time...two of my friends who have IT jobs both got laid off months after starting!

Im not in the IT or computer fields, but I am starting to see an influx for application requests. BTW, I run a mom and pop restaurant. Yes things are slowing down, but I have to say that I would work in a minimum paying job rather than move out of Cali. Besides I would not touch an older esprit WAY too many electrical problems!!!
