18x7.5 or 8.0 et 40 fit '03 CL?
Just a question, I couldn't find anything in the archives.
A guy from some wheel shop online told me these wheels fit fine, but I thought I couldn't go any lower than et45?
Whas the deal?
Oscar

you can go with a 18x8 wheel which i thiink you could fit a 235/40/18 tire on.
that is the setup i'm probably going to go with which is i think the max you can go with without having to modify your fender to avoid rubbing, if you go with any higher width or larger rim, you will probably have to modify your fender well.

I know the wheel/bolt pattern will fit....are you saying this offset (40) will work ok?
I sent an email to the guys at tirerack as well, since I made a previous purchase there, and they were warning me about offsets lower than 45.
Here's the rim
