18"s or 19"s for speed/looks/crusin???

What up peeps!

Would this be a true statement?

IF you are still going to be stylin, speeding, hard turns, racin, etc..
would you be better off with 18's?

IF you are basically doing it for looks and crusin....19's would be a better way to go?

Just curious to see what would be the make or break in getting 18's over 19's...or 19's over 18's?

Thanks Guys for all your help!

This is how it goes. First of all, Speed, looks, and handling depend on many things. Are you gojng to get forged lightweight wheels, chrome, normal silver, 7.5, 8.0 inch wide wheels, what brand. I say 17 inch light weight for performance, 19's for looks, 18;s for a little bit of both.

I agree go w/19's, i was all worried about performance and all that before i got them and once they were are you could hardly tell the difference other than a little more road noise!

interesting comments guys...

I guess as far as where I stand now...

I want the overall appearance to look better...
I definetly wont lie and say that I wont gun it once inawhile...
I'm not going to do anything on track...at least not at the moment....

so it seems like 19's are the way to go so far...

These are the ones I'm looking at now, thanks to some suggestions by riceburner...
MAYA DTM

I think a comptech drop will be fine...I do plan on putting the supercharger and a system in back..so this should lower it a bit (thanks for the advice Pimp D@ddy "comptech springs ...little more durable with the extra weight...")

I have a comptech drop and I have 2 sets of 18inch chrome giovanna's. They are both heavy as shit. Car drives great and I drive fast on straight aways and around curves.
But everytime I look at them I wanna kick myself for not getting 19's.
