15K mile Service...here's my deal

So I want to know what you all think.

I will take my car in on Thursday @ 8am. The Sevice Manager will go for a ride with me and hear the rattles (hopefully).

Here's what I get:
- Air filter changed (not getting b/c I have the Xephyr CAI)
- Oil Change and Chassis lubrication (under Sevice Care)
- Tires rotated and balanced
- Fuel injector cleaner and boost (under Service Care)
- Brakes checked, hosed checked, fluids filled
- Car wash
- Rattles fixed (warranty)
- Plus all the other checkouts (under Service Care)

He said this would usually be around $240 or so, but since I will have all the Checks/Oil Change/and Fuel Injector under Service Care and the Rattles under warranty, it will only be around $110. Not bad, plus I get a loaner all day.

What do you all think, I am going to do it just because I want them to fix everything and I want to make sure it is all done right.

My 15k service was $180 for the same thing so I would say it is probably a good deal.

I had a friend learn the hard way about not getting scheduled maintenance. He skipped a few of the services that werent major services to save some money. He did take good care of the care though. At ~ 80k miles his engine blew, and his insurance company wouldn't cover it, cause he had not gotten all of the reccomended services.

Please have a crane drop on my car so I have to buy a new CL-S. But wait till I'm not in the car. Thanks

Ken - thanks for the reply, I think I am getting a pretty good deal too.

My dad was pissed as hell when I told him I got the 7500 mile service for ~$85.
He said it's all bullshit, tell them just change the oil and filter and that's it. Nothing else.
So that's what I'm going to do tomorrow morning when i go in for my oil change (I have around 14400 right now), even if they ask for 15k service, i'm gonna say no.

Hope that's the right thing to do.

yeah thats what i did too....they wanted like $200 for 15k service, i just had them do the major things like oil change, tranny fluid change, etc. for like $80 (i brought my own mobil 1 ~$16)...so tthats $96...most of the stuff they list is just inspect this/that..blah blah blah.....i think as long as u get the 30k, 60k, 90k stuff done completely u will be ok...but if u want peace of mind, go ahead and pay the $200....

I paid about 240 I think, but I had them change the tranny fluid as well.

My 15K service was 150 dollars, so I am not complaining! It was worth it, my car still performs like new! I have about 24K now. 6K more to go for 30K service!
