Today i went to the track to get some times with my Dyno numbers.....I had 20psi in the tires when I did heat them for 7 seconds or so because the weather was cold...Anyways i lanuched at 5500RPM and my drive shaft just snapped in two halfs ...... This is what u get with alot of power on stock parts

I did make one run without adjusting(32psi+2000 Launch) anything when i first came to the track.... I spun alot and i didnt even shift to 4th gear because my RPM cutouff is now at 6700RPM so i thought i will get away with it, but i did hit the rev limiter and still ran 12.6 so im happy because im sure it has more in it after i change to a stronger drive shaft.

Start saving your money for the rear end.

The SLP Loud Mouth cat back was too much for my :-* , so I sold it and got the GMMG chambered exhaust.

What cam did you go with? Those are good numbers for a cam only bolt-on. I stopped just short of the cam and traded my bolt-on 02 SS M6 for the TL-S and went after the S/C right away. The TL-S a better winter car for me.

I like the Nittos more because i can use them on the streets, rain, road course racing and drag racing. And they do grip as u saw above... a 5500 launch and no even one spin which caused the drive shaft to snap like a stick. My car is setup for road course racing more than drag racing. I just go drag racing to see how much i gained from a single mod in terms on times and trapspeed.

They are still on and doing fine. Thanks for the hookup again mang.

I haven't been to vertex in a while. I need to stop by there and get a new aem cai, mine is broken.

I'm thinking of getting the evo early next year....

My cousin got a red one. I drove his car and let me tell its fast compared to my CL-S with all the mods. The EVO was as fast as my 99 Cobra.

By the way the EVO ran 13.4 at 101mph in stock form. He has a MBC, but he never changed the boost at that run. Its a very nice car.

Yup I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw that. I was told the card board is there to reduce noise from the drivetrain. I have a steel driveshaft coming on the way now. I dont think i will be breaking that one.

LS1's are awesome engines to mod.

I also have 315 Nitto DR's, and they are the best all-around drag radial imo. I droe from MI- Kansas with them, through rain etc and never had a problem.

Camaro are hot! I have a 73' race car. Will be going to a ladder bar system this winter as torque from BB was causing a dangerous shifting back and forth movement of the rearend! I also have a Blazer with 44's and built 454 that snapped a front shaft when it touched ground after a bonzai jump. Had a custom shaft built and so far its handling all the jumps! That is one cheap driveshaft Chevy is using. Sounds like your having alot of fun with your Camaro mods and autocross-drags etc! Cheers!

New best after the new Drive Shaft

My friends and I rented a track for a whole day today and it was a blast. Nice cars came too.
Anyways.... I got a best of 12.4 at 114 mph with 1.9 60ft with the cutout and 12.5 at 113 MPH with 1.9 60ft through the hooker. I need gears because I was shifting to 4th very close to the end. I need to be in 4th more to get quicker and faster ET and MPH.

Here is the break down on the times and cars:
1. The M3 E46 SMG got a best of 13.1 at 107 mph which is very impressive for a stock car.
2. The EVO got a best of 13.3 at 102mph with a K&N filter and boost set at 20psi.
3. Boxster S got a best of 13.7 at 101mph stock.
4. Holden Commodore got a best of 13.7 at 102mph with an exhaust and K&N filter.
5. S2000 got only one run(Broke down his Diff the 2nd run) and did 14.0 at 104 mph with a very bad 60ft and it has a SC set at 6psi with no intercooler. (Dyno'd 292rwhp)
6. Jeep Wranglar broke his transfer case on the first run. I dont have times for it.
7. The BMW 330i ran a best of 14.8 at 95mph with a Cold Air intake only.

Here are the pics of todays meeting.... Look up page 2 and 3 for today's pictures.
